The Sydney-based Rocks Discovery Museum (RDM), established in 2005, required a major technology update. The museum needed to deliver its artifact collection and multi-layered stories in an interactive, digital manner. With funding from the NSW Department of Planning, Infrastructure, and Environment, the project was initiated by Art of Multimedia (AOM) to upgrade the existing multimedia technology. This included adding First Nations stories to provide an Aboriginal perspective and fitting the technology within the existing cabinetry while catering to larger screens.
